My Fun Bike Ride in My Old Campus

The picture was taken while I had my fun bike ride at my campus area on July 10th, 2010. I have been waiting for this event since more than 10 years ago. It's a rendevous to visit my old campus again. What a nice visit! I was pedalling my bike to Kiarapayung point first, and then get my relax time in around campus area until eight o'clock.

Riding my bike on my last campus street was a special moment for me. It's not easy to get this event, coz I had to wait for long times. And also I had to drive my car for hundreds kilometers first from my current city. Actually I was riding with my sleepy eyes after having a serious talks with my ex lecturer in the last night, and I just slept for 1.5 hours only hoho...

But, it's ok. The campus was satisfying me... Glad to see the environment goes more green. I remember the past, there's almost no big trees available in our campus. Now it's different. It still needs more improvement, but better than in the past. Congrates!

My Fun Bike Trip to Blitar with Crossing River Episode

This is my fave picture. I was shot while crossing the river in Tulungagung area, which place I have forgotten the name of it. It was so exciting to cross the river with my bike, by help from two villagers operating the 'rakit'.

Tulungagung and Blitar are names of two regions in East Java Indonesia. The distance is about 80 kms.

I want to go there again someday. I love the journey from Tulungagung to Blitar, even it made me so tired in the afternoon. Phew! What a long 6 hours to ride my bike :P

My Bike Journey to Borobudur Temple

Wow, long time to sleep hehe. I have been stopped in writing this blog from December'09. I'm so sorry... Well, many explanations, but I won't tell you :)

The pic shows you my journey with neighbours to Borobudur temple in Prambanan. We're standing in front of Mendut temple here. We left our homes in the morning and came back in afternoon. So long time journey and made us fully tired ugh... But it was exciting... Great journey, and you must try it...

Hummm, when will try this track again? I don't know...

Bike Ride Route in Jogja

Jogja is not a very big city. You will ride your bike easily to every destinations in this city. Today the government has put some traffic signs to navigate bike riders to find the safer or more interesting way. As a city of tourism destinations, Jogja also having special tracks for bicycles. It is not separated from the street yet, but at least the route will make you more comfortable while riding your bike.

The route will guide you to go across special landmarks or cultural nuance of the city. It's exotic and fantastic route. You must try it while visiting Jogja, and make sure to do it in the morning or in the lovely night.

I appreciate much the traffic signs for bike riders. Thank to Jogja goverment.

My Bike Trip Thru Tugu Jogjakarta

I saw Tugu, one of popular landmark in Jogja, being covered to be repaired. May be an usual painting or something like that, to make it cleaner and more beautiful.

Tugu Jogja is the most popular landmark of Yogyakarta. This monument is located right in the center of the crossroad between the Mangkubumi, Soedirman, A.M. Sangaji and Diponegoro roads. The Tugu Jogja that is almost 3 centuries old has a very deep meaning and it keeps some history records of Yogyakarta. (source: here)

Bike Tire Problems Solved at Everywhere in Jogja

Well, you may say Jogja is a province with million of bikes. I have heard that the street was full by students going to school in the past time's morning. Now, the bicycle is changed by motocycle. Too bad, the air is poluted so badly and not clear anymore.

We still have good news. If you have a trouble with tire in your pedalling trip in Jogja, you may keep your worries in the box. It will be easy enough to find someone who may help you with his skill in repair the tire. That's a good news isn't it? You can continue your trip after the tire is repaired.

This news is not including a situation that you're in a jungle of Jogja hehe :) Or you have a big and seriously trouble with your tire. Make sure you bring a tire on your bag, to prevent troubles on your cross country trip or your down hill adventure with your MTB.

Ok, fellows. Don't be hesitate to come here in Jogja. Let's bike in this region of cultural tourism destination. There are so many places to visit by riding our bike. If you don't take your bike, there's some places to rent bikes. I've heard it costed US$ 5 only to use the bike all day long. Enjoy it :) and get your unforgetable experience here.

Your MTB's Place is Everywhere in Yogyakarta

It's Mr. Ery's style to place his MTB several months ago. Phew, I won't recommend you to use the same style, since Mr. Ery stopped keep it there. The rain damages his metal elements of the MTB, and he changed the position of his bike :)

"...masalahnya adalah the teyeng yang diakibatkan air hujan itu, pelan-pelan merambat ke semua body pit kita ya Om... Padahal nyimpen disitu cukup keren juga!"

By the way, if not made damages in bike's body... I guess it's a unique way to place our bike. Looks so tough and cool...

BMG Family Bike is Nothing But Fun!!

Reset your mindset about tired, bored, and wasting time while joining BMG family bike events (for example Morning Ride to Ngino)! It is absolutely wrong and not accepted. We have a testimonial from Dek Via, the youngest member of last family bike event. She said, "Not tired at all!"
So, what are you waiting for now? Let's join this sporty trip. Just 2 hours for every week, and we have so many advantages from it. We refresh our body, burn a fat and make a closer relationship among us, all BMG-ers.

Let's Enjoy Family Bike in BMG

All beginning are difficult. We were only 7 people who enjoyed family bike on May 17th, 2009. We named this event as Morning Ride to Ngino. Started from Bumi Mulia Godean, we were riding our bicycles to Ngino, a small traditional market in Minggir, a subdistrict of Sleman regency. And then we went back to Bumi Mulia Godean again. We finished our riding about two hours after we started, enough to make our bodies move and refreshed.
We just stopped by for several minutes to have our 'soto panas' and to drink hot sweet tea. Tried to organize an event which unity BMG neighbours in one place or activity is not a simple thing. There's too much reasons to deny the idea. I'm busy, feel not so well, family bussiness, etc. We must have positive thinking, optimistic mindset and a lot of patiences :)
But the most important thing to actualize this idea is to start it now. Even the idea joined by only two or seven people. Everything needs a process. This Morning Ride to Ngino will be continued. The neighbourhood is still in it's growth and go better hopefully. SBY said, "Lanjutkan!"

Let's Make Our House Goes Green

I found some beautiful plants in front of Via's Dad house! Exactly, he's great in collecting and taking care of it. His family has a great concern for stoping global warming, and we can do the same thing! And started from now on.
